Bucknell Spring Sports Radio Broadcast Schedule Announced

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's radio broadcast schedule for its spring sports, announced Monday, will feature five events broadcast on WVBU 90.5 and www.SportsJuice.com starting with Friday night's home men's lacrosse contest against Army. In addition to the men's lacrosse game, women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and the football spring game will all be featured over the next few weeks.
Doug Birdsong, Bucknell's coordinator of radio, television, marketing and promotions, as well as the lead play-by-play voice of the Bison Sports Network, will serve as the play-by-play voice for all broadcasts. He will be joined by select guest analysts throughout the spring.
Fans will be able to listen to the contests live on WVBU 90.5 in the Lewisburg area, and free on the internet through www.SportsJuice.com, which can be accessed through www.BucknellBison.com. Coverage will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of each game.
There is the possibility more games featuring Bucknell's spring sports teams airing only on SportsJuice.com could be added to the broadcast schedule.
The popular weekly "Bison Live!" radio program will continue to air on Eagle 107 (WEGH 107.3) and SportsJuice.com throughout the spring. Women's golf head coach Kevin Jamieson, men's lacrosse head coach Frank Fedorjaka and softball head coach Heather Rakosik, along with selected student-athletes, are scheduled to be Monday's guests on "Bison Live!". The show originates from the Lewisburg Hotel and runs from 7-8 p.m.
