Internet-Only Broadcasts Added to Bison Sports Network Schedule

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Supplementing its already-announced radio broadcast schedule, the Bison Sports Network announced Monday it would be airing a handful of Internet-only events on www.SportsJuice.com over the next few weeks.
Tuesday's softball doubleheader at Penn State, which begins at 6 p.m., kicks off the list of at least five events spreading across a number of Bucknell spring sports that will air free of charge only on www.SportsJuice.com. The Internet-only broadcasts join three other games that will air on both WVBU 90.5 FM in the Lewisburg area and www.SportsJuice.com.
Doug Birdsong, Bucknell's coordinator of radio, television, marketing and promotions, as well as the lead play-by-play voice of the Bison Sports Network, will serve as the play-by-play voice for all broadcasts. He will be joined by select guest analysts throughout the spring.
In addition to Tuesday's softball doubleheader, Friday's baseball doubleheader at Lafayette will be available on www.SportsJuice.com. The men's lacrosse games at Penn State April 19 and home against Colgate April 23 and a baseball doubleheader against Navy on April 29 or 30 round out the list of Internet-only broadcasts.
Bucknell games from the Patriot League men's and women's lacrosse tournaments, held April 28-30, as well as contests from the Patriot League baseball and softball tournaments, scheduled for May 12-14, may be added to the Internet-only broadcast schedule as well if the Bison qualify for the postseason.
Saturday's women's lacrosse game against Lehigh as well as the first game of a softball doubleheader against Holy Cross on April 22 and the spring football game that same evening will air live on WVBU 90.5 as well as www.SportsJuice.com.
