2005-06 BISON CLUB TICKET APPLICATION
Bison Fans:
Our athletic programs are gearing up for the 2005-06 year as we prepare to recapture the Patriot League Presidents' Cup, having won the award 11 times in the 15-year history of the League! Bucknell's athletics program offered plenty of highlights last year, including one of the biggest upsets on the national scene - a 64-63 victory over perennial basketball powerhouse Kansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. In the athletic arena, the Bison captured four Patriot League championships, and in the classroom Bucknell produced three Academic All-Americans and six of the conference's 22 Patriot League Scholar-Athletes. Bison athletics continues to set the standard of excellence in the conference, offering a highly-competitive and successful athletics program that produces outstanding young men and women year after year. We could not accomplish any of this without the tremendous support and loyalty of folks like you who are committed to supporting the scholar-athlete model exemplified by Bucknell University and Bison athletics.
As you may recall the University embarked upon a new ticketing process in 2002-03, whereby the purchase of athletics tickets was separated from donations to the athletics department. As the ticket application outlines, this procedure will continue and we hope it allows you to purchase your desired tickets to football and/or basketball while having your entire Bison Club donation tax-deductible. Due to the limited availability of spaces, parking for football and basketball will again be available based on giving level and reserved season ticket purchases.
Click here for a ticket order form for football and basketball that gives you the opportunity to purchase tickets and donate to the Bison Club. Football season tickets will be mailed the week of August 8, and basketball season tickets will be mailed the week of October 24.

For the second straight year, the Patriot League has changed its basketball scheduling policy for conference games. Mid-week contests will be played on Tuesdays for the women and on Wednesdays for the men, while Saturday games at Sojka Pavilion will be doubleheaders. Accordingly, we will be offering one season ticket package for basketball at a price of $150. The package includes a reserved seat for all 24 home men's and women's games, and if you are a 2005-2006 Bison Club donor at the Orange and Blue Club level ($500 or more) you will also receive a reserved parking pass.
New season ticket holders will have the option of choosing any seat in Sojka Pavilion, provided it is not already reserved by a current season ticket holder. Reserved seats will be identified by a RESERVED SEAT sticker on the chair-back portion of the seat. Current season ticket holders will have the option of keeping their current seats provided their application is received three weeks prior to the ticket mail dates, followed by those who purchase the Orange & Blue Plan.
In addition, we are offering a special pre-sale opportunity for basketball season ticket holders to purchase up to four additional general admission tickets for the Villanova game on December 6 at a price of $8.00 each, while supplies last. The Wildcats, coached by Bucknell alum Jay Wright '83, are sure to be ranked in the top-10 when they appear here at Bucknell and the game will most certainly sell out.
