
Bison Men's Tennis Falls to American 7-0 in First League Contest

DUMFRIES, Va. - The Bison men's tennis team had a rough start to their Patriot League schedule, falling to American 7-0, Saturday in Dumfries, Va. The Eagles rolled against the Bison, dropping only one set in singles play. The Bison are now 5-8 on the season and 0-1 in the Patriot League.
Freshman John Lashnits was the closest to getting a win taking the first set from American's Mark Doumba and holding on for a super-tiebreaker in the third set at five singles, eventually losing the match 7-6, 1-6, 9-11.
The Bison will continue their PL schedule next week when they take on Navy in Annapolis, Md. The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
