Greg Costello Competes in 5K at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Greg Costello was the only Bison man competing on Thursday in the Penn Relays, finishing 11th in the collegiate 5K competition in 14:35.30.

Though Costello has already qualified for IC4A competition in the 10K, he just missed meeting the 5K mark by three-tenths of a second. He fell short of his Bucknell 10th-best all-time mark, set in 2002, by just over nine seconds.

The Bucknell track and field teams will be split starting Friday and continuing Saturday, with some athletes at the Penn Relays and others at The College of New Jersey Invitational.
