Bucknell's Adam Jacob Received Weekly Honor From Patriot League

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's Adam Jacob (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg), a senior on the track and field team, was honored the Patriot League and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)Field Athlete of the Week awards for the first time this season on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Jacob earned the Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors after placing fifth in his only event of the week. The senior cleared 15'3" in the pole vault at the Bucknell Winter Classic. Jacob's vault puts him in the fifth spot on Bucknell's all-time pole vault charts. He is also leading the Patriot League in vaulting this season.

Bucknell will travel to Hamilton, N.Y., on Friday, Feb. 21 to being the first of the three-day Patriot League Indoor Championships at Colgate. The championships will last through Sunday, Feb. 23.
