Bucknell Falls In First Match Of Bull Run Inn-vitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's women's volleyball team fell to University at Albany, 3-1, in the first match of the Bull Run Inn-vitational Friday evening. Junior Brandi Trapasso and senior Jennifer Wrigley tallied a total 21 of the 37 kills for the Bison.
Bucknell lost the first game, 30-14. The Bison then came back to the court with force to give the Great Danes a race for the second match, but fell short once again, 30-28. The Orange and Blue pulled through the third game with a 30-22 win. Albany closed the match with a 30-26 victory in the fourth game of the evening.
Adding to Brandi Trapasso and Jennifer Wrigley's kills, junior Breean Trapasso marked 28 assists for Bucknell. For the Bison, Brandi (15) and Breean (10) Trapasso, and Chelsea Anderson (18) gave double digits on the court in the dig column.
During the second match of the evening, Quinnipiac gave LaSalle an uneasy upset with a 3-0 win.
Bucknell will conclude tournament play Saturday when it faces Quinnipiac at noon and LaSalle at 4 p.m.
