No. 15 Lock Haven Tops Bison Grapplers, 37-11

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Taking advantage of two falls, two technical falls and two forfeits, 15th-ranked Lock Haven defeated Bucknell 37-11 in a non-league wrestling dual Thursday evening.
The Eagles (15-4) raced to a 28-0 lead after five bouts, following JaMarr Billman's 20-4 tech fall over Justin Hartrum at 149 pounds. Steve Itterly began the evening with a 21-6 tech fall over Andrew Herbert in the heavyweight tilt, then Lock Haven picked up 12 straight points on forfeits at 125 and 133. Justin Owens pinned Brandn Green at 141 and Billman, now 27-2 on the year, made it 28-0 by scoring five takedowns and nine back points.
Rocky Miller got the Bison on the board with a 12-1 rout of David Beard at 157. Miller scored a first-period takedown, picked up three near-fall points after starting the second period in the up position, then opened the third with a reversal from the down spot.
Brock Hostetter defeated Lock Haven's Eric O'Connor 8-3 at 174 pounds. Hostetter trailed 3-2 after the first period but surged ahead with a takedown late in the second. Leading 5-3 in the final minute, he picked up one last takedown to seal the win.
The 184-pound bout was a thriller, with Lock Haven's Mike Greenberg riding out Brian Neuman after a 1-1 deadlock through 7:30.
Brian Falciglia won the final bout of the night, 16-5 over Jarred Dressler at 197 pounds. Falciglia notched seven takedowns to improve to 14-7 on the year, 8-2 in duals.
Bucknell returns to action Saturday, taking on Eastern Michigan, American and Virginia in Washington, D.C.
