ABOUT THE LAFAYETTE GAME: The Bison enter this evening's contest on a two-game streak after capturing their first tournament title in ten years at the Nassau Knockout. The Orange and Blue carry a 7-6 record into the contest.
Lafayette comes into tonight's outing with a 2-10 overall record. The Leopards are mired in a three-game slide after dropping a 71-60 decision to Cornell on Monday.
THE LAFAYETTE SERIES: Lafayette owns a 29-18 advantage in the 25-year history of the series, the longest of any in Bucknell women's basketball history. Of the 125 different schools that Bucknell has faced throughout the women's basketball program's history, Lafayette has been the opponent the most times (47).
The Orange and Blue, however, have dominated for the past six years, winning 11 of the last 15 outings, including both games last season.
SCOUTING LAFAYETTE: The Leopards carry a 2-10 overall record into this evening's contest. Lafayette's two wins this season have come over Rider (75-72) and Dartmouth (64-62).
Sophomore Colleen Fitzpatrick leads the Leopards in scoring with 13.8 points per game. She is also second on the squad with 5.7 rebounds per game. Junior Jennifer Bayer is the team-leader on the glass, pulling down 6.9 caroms each night out.
