Women's Tennis Team Falls to Colgate, 6-1

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's tennis team's struggles continues, as the Bison fell to Patriot League rival Colgate, 6-1, on Sunday, April 8. With the loss, BU falls to 4-6 overall and 0-2 in Patriot League play. Colgate improves to 7-9 overall and 3-1 in conference action.
Colgate claimed five of the six singles matches and all three doubles bouts on its way to the victory. Bucknell's lone winner on the day was freshman Sam Berthod (White Plains, N.Y./Ursuline Academy), picking up a 6-4, 6-4 decision at number four singles.
The Orange and Blue are in action next when they host Millersville for a 4:00 p.m. match on Wednesday, April 11.
