Russ Lindberg & Ian Joseph Named to the All-Tournament Team at the Pepsi-Johnny Quik Classic in Fresno, California.

FRESNO, Calif. --- Bucknell seniors Russ Lindberg (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel) and Ian Joseph (Novelty, Ohio/West Geauga) were named to the all-tournament team at the 23rd Annual Pepsi-Johnny Quik Classic, which was held at Fresno State University last week.
Lindberg, who was tabbed as the all-tournament first baseman, led all Bucknell players at the prestigious tournament with a .458 batting average. After getting off to a slow start (0-7) to open the week, he hit .647 (11-17) over the last four games for the Orange and Blue. He hit his team-leading fifth home run of the season against the defending Big 10 Tournament Champion, Illinois, and was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles in Bucknell's 12-9 win over Navy. Lindberg currently leads the team in average (.440), at-bats (50), runs scored (13), hits (22), home runs (5), RBIs (17) and slugging percentage (.800).
Joseph was named to the team as the utility fielder after hitting .455 and scoring a team-best eight runs over the course of the six games. He also improved his Bucknell career-record stolen base total to 77 by stealing five bases in the tournament. The center fielder is currently ranked fifth on the team with a .327 average, and leads the club in walks (8) and stolen bases (6).
