Women's Basketball Player Molly Creamer Named to PNC Wildcat Classic All-Tournament Team

VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Bucknell sophomore guard Molly Creamer (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) has been named to the 2000 PNC Wildcat Classic All-Tournament Team. The tournament was hosted by Villanova on Friday and Saturday, December 29-30.
Despite only scoring four points in an 89-54 loss to Villanova on December 29, Creamer still averaged 18.5 points per game over the weekend after tallying a career-high 33 points in a disappointing 89-79 loss to Northeastern in the consolation game on Saturday, December 30.
In addition to her scoring numbers, Creamer also averaged 7.0 assists per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, and 2.5 steals per outing. Against Northeastern, Creamer matched her career-high with five steals, in addition to coming up one assist short of her career-best with eight. The 5-10 guard nailed five three-pointers in the contest, also a career-high.
For the season, Creamer is leading the team and the Patriot League with 20.8 ppg. She is also averaging 4.5 apg and 3.0 spg. The all-tournament selection in Creamer's second of the season. Earlier in December, she was selected to the Cornell Classic All-Tournament Team.
The Bison are 7-3 overall and will host Cleveland State at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, for their first contest of 2001.
