Tom Sanders was the starting goalie for the Bucknell lacrosse team for four straight years. He enjoyed a terrific senior campaign, earning All-East Coast Conference first team and Honorable Mention All-America honors. Sanders turned in many stellar performances in goal that season, including a 29-save outing against Army and a 22-save effort against Delaware. Sanders held Bucknell records for saves in a season (201) and a career (664) and still owns the mark for saves in a game (34 vs. Penn State in 1977). He came to Bucknell from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and The Hackley School.
