Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame

Thomas E. Cusick
- Induction:
- 1996
- Class:
- 1987
The fourth player in Bucknell history to be named to the All-East Coast Conference lacrosse team for three straight years, Tom Cusick earned U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America honorable mention as a junior and almost certainly would have received the same honor as a senior if he had not missed the final six games of his career with an injury. Bucknell's career goal-scoring leader at the time of his graduation with 117 goals, he also finished tied for fourth on the all-time assist list with 143. Cusick, who joined his brother, George, as a three-time all-conference selection, was the sixth Bison player ever selected for the North-South All-Star Game and ranked in the top five in the nation in goals per game as a junior and senior. A graduate of Abington (Pa.) High School, Cusick led Bucknell in goals scored for three consecutive years and had one seven-goal game, two six-goal games and two five-goal games.Â
