Lori Houck Steigerwald was a four-time All-Patriot League guard and one of the all-time leading scorers for the Bison women’s basketball team. She graduated with 1,447 career points, a total that ranked second in program history at the time of her graduation. She also ranked second at the time in assists with 336, and she collected more than 400 rebounds from her guard position.

Houck was captain of the team as a senior in 1999-2000, when the Bison advanced to the Patriot League championship game for the first time. That year she also earned the Patriot League Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete Award and then became the first Bison to earn the overall Patriot League Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the school year.

A native of Lancaster, Pa., and a graduate of Solanco High School, Houck went to to earn an MBA and Fordham University and became director of finance at ESPN.
