Sport: Field Hockey
Jen Zimmerman was an extremely versatile field hockey player who stood out at both ends of the field. A two-year captain, Zimmerman was a Regional All-America selection in both 1998 and 1999. She also garnered All-Patriot League honors as a junior and senior, and as a junior she was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. A member of the Patriot League All-Decade Team for field hockey, Zimmerman graduated with school records for assists in a career (26), assists in a season (10) and goals in a game (4), and she ranked fourth in total points (74). She became only the third player in program history to record four goals in a game, joining fellow Hall-of-Famers Kathy Kline and Karin Wegener, when she did so in a 4-3 comeback win at Columbia in 1999.
Zimmerman scored 24 career goals, 15 coming during her senior season. Six of those 15 were game-winners, as the Bison set a school single-season victory record in a 14-7 campaign.
