- Induction:

- Class:
- 1987
Dianne Czarnecki was a four-year letterwinner and an all-conference selection in field hockey and softball at Bucknell. A two-time East Coast Conference selection as a member of the Bison softball team, Czarnecki was also named all-region following her senior year. Hall-of-Fame head coach Terrie Grieb described her as having a great glove and a cannon for an arm. From the hot corner at third base, Czarnecki posted a then-record 214 career assists. In field hockey, she played midfield and became the first Bison to receive All-East Coast Conference honors for three straight years. She was named to the Regional All-America Second Team and ended her career as the fifth-leading scorer in school history. Czarnecki came to Bucknell from Levittown, Pa., and Neshaminy Langhorne High School. Â
