Derek Caldwell

A three-year starter and two-time Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) placewinner as a member of the wrestling team at Lock Haven, Derek Caldwell is in his second year as a volunteer assistant wrestling coach at Bucknell.
Caldwell earned a bachelor's degree in communications media from Lock Haven in 2010 and then earned a master's of liberal arts two years later. He served as the head wrestling coach at Penn State New Kensington for the last year.
Caldwell served as a graduate assistant in the Lock Haven athletics department while earning his master's degree. His coaching background includes stints as a camp clinician at Rob Waller's All-American Wrestling Camps in Latrobe, Pa.
Caldwell was a four-year member of the Lock Haven wrestling team. He was a two-time member of both the EWL and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference All-Academic Teams.
