Associate Athletic Trainer

Tiffany Thompson is in her 10th year as the associate athletic trainer at Bucknell. Originally from Reading, Pa., she graduated from Salisbury State University with a bachelor's of science degree in physical education. In 1994 she graduated from Mississippi State University with a master's degree in exercise physiology.

After graduate school, Lebengood became the Head Athletic Trainer at Mississippi University for Women for three-and-a-half years. She moved back to Pennsylvania in 1998 to become an assistant athletic trainer at Bucknell.

Presently she is working with the Bison volleyball, baseball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf and men's and women's swimming and diving programs. She is in charge of coordination and supervision of the Sports Medicine Center and is responsible for all facets of the training room budget and the sports medicine web page.

Thompson is an Approved Clinical Instructor for Shenandoah University and is a member of the National Association of Athletic Trainers.

In 2007, she married Brent Thompson, an assistant football coach at Bucknell. The couple resides in Lewisburg.
