Meghan Chambers joined the Bucknell staff as an assistant athletic trainer in January 2015. Chambers spent the previous year as an associate athletic trainer at Flagler College in Florida.
Chambers earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2010. While an undergraduate, Chambers worked closely with the Hoosiers volleyball team and served as president of the Athletic Training Student Council.
No stranger to Patriot League institutions, Chambers then spent one year working at Navy, where she gained experience working with the Mids highly regarded football and men’s lacrosse programs.
Chambers then spent a little over two years at the University of Florida, during which time she earned her master’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology/sports medicine. Chambers started by working closely with the Gators track and field programs and saw the men’s team win national titles both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the women’s team captured the 2012 indoor SEC championship during Chambers’ tenure.
Following her tenure with the track and field programs, Chambers had the opportunity to work as the lacrosse head athletic trainer prior to departing for Flagler.
Chambers has had extensive experience throughout her career, including a stint as head athletic trainer for USA Rugby at the 2013 World University Games.
