Proceed with Care
Not every deal is a great deal, but every deal comes with some type of obligation. Be mindful that it is YOUR Name, Image, and Likeness. Once you put it out to the world, it is out there!
Ask Questions
While Bucknell Athletics is not permitted to facilitate, arrange, or coordinate NIL deals on behalf of student-athletes, resources are available to help you navigate the NIL landscape. Jen Kentera, senior associate AD for leadership development, coordinates a number of NIL-related workshops throughout the year, and she can connect you with campus partners upon request. Dan Isaf, associate AD for NCAA compliance and student-services, is your NIL reporting liaison and can help guide you through the process of mandatory reporting of NIL activity. In addition, the INFLCR app features dozens of videos covering a wide range of NIL-related topics, in addition to serving as a tool to report NIL activities and download photos.
More About INFLCR
How does INFLCR (pronounced "Influencer") help with personal brand-building?
INFLCR is a mobile app that allows Bucknell Athletics to share content, such as photos, with student-athletes. This content can then be shared on your personal social media channels. You can also set up personalized reporting to track your social media engagement and followership. CLICK HERE for more details on INFLCR, including screen shots.

Where does NIL come into play?
The INFLCR Verified platform has built-in modules for NIL reporting and education.
All Bucknell student-athletes are required to report their NIL activities to the Compliance office. The INFLCR Compliance Ledger provides standardized reporting and allows the Compliance department to communicate with student-athletes about specific
transactions.
The INFLCR Compliance Exchange is an integration hub that educates student-athletes on external marketplace apps that already exist, such as Cameo and OpenSponsorship. Compliance reporting is automated from these companies.
INFLCR’s “storyteller playbook” is an in-app NIL educational platform for student-athletes. The module includes videos and testimonials from athletes and business leaders to assist with brand strategy, best practices, compliance, and much more.
Can I use my shared photos or other Bucknell logos/photos for NIL activity?
Not without licensing approval from Bucknell. You may identify yourself as a Bucknell student-athlete, but if you wish to use a Bucknell logo, photo, or any other intellectual property owned by the University, you must contact Senior Associate AD Todd Newcomb to go through the licensing process. Remember, the photos being shared with you through the INFLCR platform are for personal use. If you wish to use them as a way to monetize your NIL, you must be a licensed vendor.
