Bucknell offers many exciting promotions at its athletic events. Make sure to check back as more promotions are added to the 2019-20 calendar.
FOOTBALL
New in 2019, Tailgate Village will open three hours before kickoff and will be located in the north end zone area of Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. Fans can bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol, into this area, which offers prime viewing of pregame and first half game action. Fans are also permitted to bring their own chairs and table-top grills. No open flame grilling or glass bottles will be permitted in this area.
The re-vamped Geisinger Kids Zone will be located in the closed end of the stadium. Featuring inflatables and face painting, it is open to all children.
Villanova (Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.)
Fans will be treated to a rock climbing wall and a touch-a-truck event, which will feature firetrucks, humvees and other military vehicles, on the football practice field.
As part of Youth Sports Night, presented by Weis Markets, youth football and cheerleading teams will be treated to on-field experiences. Discounted admission for family and friends of attending youth football and cheerleaders will also be available.
Princeton (Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m.)
All funds raised from dog admissions will benefit local animal shelters. There will be dog friendly activities and special dog concession areas. The general public will also have the chance to adopt dogs after the game. Dogs must be up to date on all shots, and owners will have to sign a waiver before bringing their dogs into Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.
