2015-16 Bucknell Cheerleading Team
Welcome to the home of the Bucknell cheerleaders and Bucky Bison!! As a part of our cheerleading team you will have the opportunity to cheer on our football team at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium or lead the basketball fans with the famous 'Ray Bucknell chant in Sojka Pavillon.
The Bucknell cheerleading team cheers for all home football, men's and women's basketball games, as well as, the basketball Patriot League and NCAA tournament games. Bison cheerleaders have two practices, two weightlifting sessions, and mandatory cardio throughout the week along with required games and events. The team participates in a variety of community service events and visits throughout the year.
Tryouts for cheerleaders are held in the spring and fall on campus and through video tryouts at the beginning of summer. Anyone interested in trying out should contact Coach Megan Lindner at mel021@bucknell.edu.
