Women's Lacrosse Places 29 Student-Athletes on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- It was another banner semester for the Bucknell women's lacrosse team, which combined for an eye-popping 3.68 team-wide grade-point average while placing 29 of the 34 student-athletes on the roster on the 2023 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.Â
Of the team's 29 honorees, 27 also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and eight earned perfect 4.00 GPAs: Emily Baird, Carly Irvine, Bella Koch, Caitlin McHale, Madison Parke, Symone Ryans, Regan Sansiviero, and Jamie Tsao.Â
Earlier in the spring, senior Ella Payer was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, and Payer and Baird both earned Academic All-Patriot League honors at season's end.Â
Bucknell's 29 Honor Roll members were second-most in the Patriot League, trailing only Loyola's 32 honorees.Â
Bucknell led all Patriot League institutions with 517 student-athletes on the 2022-23 Honor Roll, including 341 on the just-released winter/spring Honor Roll. Lehigh had the next-highest 2022-23 total with 398. Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 GPA or better during the semester in which their League champion is crowned. More than 3,500 student-athletes were honored this past academic year.
