
School Record in the 4x400 Meter Relay Highlights Final Day of Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.- The Bucknell Bison women's track & field team continued its record-breaking weekend by setting another school record this time in the 4x400-meter relay. The Bison women finished fourth with 84.50 points.

"This might be the most points we have ever scored at this meet even if we finished fourth," said head coach Kevin Donner. "I was pleased with all our event groups and we showed great balance. Going back-to-back days in a team-oriented atmosphere is a great performance for the Patriot League Championships. I thought we handled the adverse weather well. It was great to end the meet with a school record in the 4x400-meter relay."
The quartet of Katherine Loew, Jessie Castellano, Meghan Quinn, and Bridget Lalonde set the school record in the 4x400-meter relay. Their time of 3:42.78 broke the old record set in 2013 by nearly three seconds and gave them second place in the event. It marks Quinn's fifth school record and her third of the weekend.
The foursome of Lalonde, Quinn, Lila Gaughan, and Karen Hull plucked a fifth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay on a time of 47.14. The time now ranks sixth in Bucknell history.
The distance medley grouping of Abigail Paczewski, Alison Cooke, Mariana Engleby, and Ally Clarke brought home the gold thanks to their time of 12:09.15.
The Bison recorded three throwers in the top 10 of the discus. Isabella Roes led the way with a third-place finish (119-03), Christine Ajao grabbed fifth (116-09), and Siobhan O'Sullivan finished 10th (106-05).
The quartet of Eva Lindner, Hollie Walters, Mia Bellucci, and Caryn Rippey earned fourth place in the 4x1500-meter relay. Their time was 19:13.91.
Siobhan O'Sullivan posted a sixth-place mark in the shot put. The thrower tossed the object a distance of 43-03.00.
Lexi Gray posted a seventh-place finish in the triple jump invite. She leaped to a spot of 37-05.00.
Madeline Lehker also nailed a seventh-place finish in a jumping event. Her mark of 5-01.25 brought home the placement in the high jump.
Karen Hull grabbed an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.45.
The Bucknell quartet of Abby Eisold, Emily Grubb, Colleen Linko, and Meredith Haberfield nabbed ninth place with their mark of 4:24.50.
Kaia Slaw grabbed 10th in the triple jump (35-07.25).
