Bucknell Men's 4x800 Relay Earns All-East Honors on Final Day of IC4A Championships

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Bucknell University 4x800 team earned All-East honors after placing fourth as Bucknell wrapped up the final day of the IC4A Championships.
Bucknell finished 19th with 14.333 points. Navy won the meet (191), followed by Army (119), Northeastern (49), Rider (41), and Dartmouth (31).
Results
"Our 4x800 relay finishing fourth was a great highlight, and all four are back for next year," said Head Coach Kevin Donner. This weekend was more about getting real experience to set us up for the future more so than placing high as a team. We had a lot of opt outs for this meet, but the guys who came did a great job."
The 4x800 squad of Brendan O'Toole, Alex Simpson, Owen Chase, and Dylan Lopresti finished fourth in a time of 7:44.98, marking the fifth time in its last five appearances that the Bison have earned All-East accolades in the 4x800 outdoors.
Bucknell will now look ahead to the NCAA East Preliminary Meet at the University of North Florida from May 27-29.
