Ashley Blair Garners Academic All-League Accolades

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Ashley Blair of the Bucknell women's cross country team has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Blair, a senior from nearby Selinsgrove, finished seventh overall at the 2021 Patriot League Spring Championships to garner First Team All-Patriot League accolades for the third consecutive year. Blair is now part of an elite group of five Bison in school history that have earned Three All-Patriot League nods.
One of Bucknell's most consistent runners in her career, Blair improved from a 63rd-place finish in 2017 to take 6th at the 2018 Championships, and fifth at the 2019 Championships. Blair has also made her mark on the track, winning the 3,000 at the 2019 Indoor Championships while taking fifth in the 5,000 at the same meet. Her time of 9:49.37 in the 3,000 is good for fifth on Bucknell's all-time list.
The Academic award is the first for the senior, who is a biology major.
