Donner Announces Incoming Class

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell Cross Country and Track and Field Head Coach Kevin Donner has announced the addition of 49 student-athletes that will join the Bison for the upcoming season. The freshman class consists of 18 additions to the men's team, and 31 joining the women's program.

"I believe this is a very good recruiting class, and many of these student-athletes would have improved on their performances had there been an outdoor season," said Donner. "For both genders, we got some people who are going to help us right away and we also got some people who will develop over time and help us in future years. It's a large class, especially for the women, which will provide us great depth. I want to thank my coaching staff, who put in many months of work to finalize a very solid class. We cannot wait to get these student-athletes on campus this fall."

The incoming class hails from 11 different states: Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Connecticut, Colorado, Maryland, and Delaware. The Bucknell men finished third at the 2020 Patriot League Indoor Championships, while the women's team finished fifth in 2020.
