LEWISBURG, Pa. – General public tickets for the Bucknell wrestling team's dual against Penn State on Friday, November 30 are officially sold out.
The Bison and Nittany Lions, winners of seven of the past eight NCAA Championships, are set to square off at 7 p.m. in Sojka Pavilion. The dual, which is presented by Geisinger, Fairfield Auto Group and Giant, will be streamed live on FloWrestling for those not able to attend.Â
"We're going to have a sold-out crowd in Sojka Pavilion," said head coach Dan Wirnsberger. "When Bucknell University re-established the varsity wrestling program with the help of Bill Graham, his dream was to sell out Sojka Pavilion for a wrestling dual. We're very excited to make that dream a reality. Obviously, it's awesome to have the defending national champions coming to our venue, and we're excited for the challenge."
Bucknell students can still claim a free ticket to this historic event by attending Sunday, November 11's quad dual against VMI (11 a.m.), Cleveland State (12:30 p.m.) and Buffalo (2 p.m.) in Davis Gym. A limited number of free tickets are available; students should arrive early to sign in at the student check-in table, which will be located at the entrance of Davis Gym. Students who sign up at the quad dual for a free Penn State ticket can pick up their ticket on the evening of November 30 at the student will-call table located inside the Sojka Pavilion lobby. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
