Bucknell Baseball, Men's Lacrosse to Appear on CBS College Sports Network in Upcoming Weeks

LEWISBURG, Pa. - A pair of Bucknell teams will be making national television appearances on CBS College Sports Network in the upcoming weeks. The first game of Bucknell's baseball doubleheader at Navy on Sunday, April 19, will be aired on CBS College Sports at 12 p.m., while the Bison men's lacrosse team's first round Patriot League Tournament game slated for next Friday, April 24, will also be on the network.
The Bison baseball team will be playing a key four-game Patriot League series in Annapolis, Md., this weekend. The third game of that series will be broadcast nationally with Tom Hart and former major league shortstop Kevin Stocker calling all the action. Bucknell is currently 15-19 overall and 7-5 in Patriot League play and will enter the weekend in a tie for first place with Lafayette in the tightly packed league standings.
All three games of the two-day Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Tournament will be available on CBS College Sports Network. The two semifinal contests on Friday, April 24, will be aired. The first semifinal matchup is slated for 3 p.m., while the second semifinal will begin at approximately 5:45 p.m. Sunday's (April 26) championship game will take place at 3 p.m.
With a win this Saturday afternoon at Colgate, Bucknell (7-6, 5-0 PL) will earn the No. 1 seed and the right to host the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Tournament at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. The Bison have clinched their berth in the postseason tournament for a third consecutive year.
CBS College Sports is available in all markets on cable and satellite systems across the country including Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, Insight, Time Warner, Verizon FIOS, among others, and on DirecTV (channel 613) and DISH Network (channel 152).
