Tuesday's Bucknell-La Salle Baseball Game Called Off

LEWISBURG, Pa. - While the winter storm that wreaked havoc on the Northeast Monday did not hit Lewisburg, it has affected the Bucknell baseball team. The Bison were slated to play at La Salle on Tuesday, but the game has been cancelled due to the snow that has blanketed the Philadelphia area. There is a possibility the game could be rescheduled for Thursday. An official makeup date will be decided on later this week.
Bucknell, which was scheduled to play at VMI Sunday but had that game called off due to inclement weather, is 0-7 this season. The Bison have played a pair of difficult teams in Virginia and Virginia Tech. La Salle is 3-3 this year and is currently scheduled to play at Lafayette on Wednesday.
